The Madison/Marshall County chapter of the American Red Cross has shelters standing by for Hurricane Gustav evacuees who stop in North Alabama. Several hundred Hurricane Gustav evacuees from Louisiana are now in Red Cross shelters set up at North Alabama community colleges, and several hundred more are on the way, said Mary Moreillon, executive director of the Madison/Marshall County Red Cross.
