How Does It Work?

Very simply Huntsville Ad Network has chosen to make our advertisements time based rather than impression or click based.  In essence ads placed across our network work more like billboards rather than traditional banner ads.

In the most popular online adverting scenarios, you pay for impressions or clicks on a website by setting a budget and then paying based on the number of impressions or per click.    In using this method over the years, we found a few challenges with maximizing our ROI.  One challenge is if it is a high traffic site, either your impressions can run out quickly or clicks can be very expensive.   More importantly this can make your advertising budget unpredictable or worse greatly limit your overall exposure.

Can be good for the publisher but sucks for the advertiser.

So we have sought to do a few things slightly different.

  1. First is Price
    During our BETA sign up, ALL ads are only $100 regardless of size or placement.
    Making some form of advertisement affordable for everyone’s budget.

    You can get our longest running ad (125 x 125 / 30 days) for as little $100 a month (affordable) but we didn’t stop there.

  2. Second is Time Based Ads 
    Huntsville Ad Network guarantees that your ad will run for a given time slot (based on the size) with unlimited impressions and unlimited clicks.
    So using that same ad (125 x 125 / 30 days) at $100 per slot you can lock in an entire year of advertising for $1200
    That’s unlimited impressions and unlimited clicks for $1200 dollars. (affordable and predictable)

  3. Third! To make the deal even sweeter.
    We are not offering ads just over one site.   We will run your ad over Multiple Sites that sign up to be in our publisher network.

    So anybody with a site geared toward the public in nature with a decent amount of traffic can sign up.

Some sites vary in the amount of traffic but this will maximize you overall exposure because there as the network continues to grow the potential is really unlimited because not only do the impressions increase but each site has a slightly different audience / following even though the network is location specif in this case Huntsville.

Advertising Polices

General Policies

Record of Delivery for Rich Media
If a client’s campaign is to be billed on 3rd Party data and the client is also running a separate vendor’s rich media ads, the rich media vendor’s record of delivery will be referred to as the source for impressions delivered, including cases where a 3rd party tracking tag is embedded within the rich media vendor’s code.

Multi-Event Clicktags in Flash Ads
Please notify us if use of multi-event Flash ads is employed (including if the ads will be rotated in at a later point during campaign). These ads are known to break if we try to track clicks on the our end, so if we know they will be used we will disable click-tracking at campaign launch.

Creative Change / Rotation Policies

  • Max # of different creative units per placement 4 per ad size, unlimited if 3rd party-served
  • Max # of creative changes allowed Once per month, unlimited if 3rd party-served

Creative Submission /Checklist for Submitted Creative

  • Check creative against Media Types and Restrictions on last page?
  • Did you stay under the max file size?
  • Have you notified us of multi-event Flash ads you may be running?

Deadlines for Creative Submission

  • Lead time for banner all ads
3 business days before launch
  • Lead time for video, audio, sponsorship units

5 business days before launch

Late Submission Policy
Per the IAB Late Creative provision (in IAB/AAAA Terms and Conditions 2.0), we will run houseads for paid placements until creative is received. The impressions delivered will count towards the contracted goals. ADVERTISING POLICIES & TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

• Needs to include “collapse” text or ‘X’ button (we can build in, if necessary), unless the ad will not be expandable

2). 300×60 static .gif Cannot animate at all
• Needs to include “expand” text (we can also build in, if necessary), unless the ad will not be expandable

3. 1×1 jscript tag for tracking imps (optional). This tag is only called once, at the start of the preroll.
• Separate tracking tags, including Dynamic Logic, have to be embedded in this initial jscript tag.

4) 1×1 redirect / click-command tag for tracking and redirecting clicks (optional)
