Huntsville’s Crime Report

Unless otherwise indicated, the following incidents were reported to Huntsville police Thursday and Friday. In items with incomplete addresses, police withheld the information:

North precinct

• A TV, VCR and computer were stolen overnight Thursday from John Wesley Way.

• An MP3 player, an XBox 360 and two XBox 360 games were stolen Thursday between 5 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. from a home in the 4000 block of Knollbrook Drive.

• A 2000 silver Hyundai Elantra worth $2,000 was stolen at 4:10 a.m. Friday from the 2100 block of Oakwood Avenue.

• A 36-inch Sony flatscreen TV was stolen at 5 p.m. Wednesday from a Meridian Street home.

• Some University of Alabama merchandise was stolen at 9 p.m. Thursday from the 1000 block of North Memorial Parkway.

South precinct

• A cash box containing an unknown amount of money was stolen overnight Thursday from the 1000 block of Weatherly Road.

• A camcorder, home video tapes and loose coins were stolen overnight Thursday from a home in the 1000 block of Cole Drive.

• A Nikon camera and a purse were stolen between 3 and 5 p.m. Wednesday from a church in the 600 block of Airport Road.

• A Nokia cell phone was stolen Thursday between 5:15 and 6 p.m. from the 12000 block of Bailey Cove Road.

West precinct

• A 2007 silver Chevrolet Aspen worth $40,000 was stolen overnight Thursday from the 100 block of Chimes Way.

• Speakers worth $600 were stolen from a Chevrolet Suburban on Chasewood Drive overnight Thursday.

• A Sony stereo and miscellaneous CDs were stolen overnight Thursday from a Honda Accord in the 5000 block of Seven Pine Circle.

• A suitcase containing clothes and papers and three garbage bags containing personal items were stolen Friday morning from the Downtown Rescue Mission, 2411 Ninth Ave.

• Miscellaneous hair styling equipment worth $600 was reported stolen at 8 a.m. Friday in the 900 block of Monrovia Road.

• An Acer computer and some packing tape were stolen about 9:45 a.m. from a supermarket in the 6100 block of University Drive.

• A 2001 blue Mazda B3000 truck was stolen between 10 and 11:45 a.m. Thursday in the 3600 block of Sixth Avenue.

• A Pioneer CD player, two subwoofers, an amplifier and cash were stolen overnight Thursday on Cerro Vista Street.

• A 46-inch Samsung TV and an Aspire computer were stolen Wednesday in the 4000 block of Alberta Drive.

• A DVD player, DVDs, CDs and three party masks were stolen between 4 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Mason Court.

• A Hewlett Packard laptop was stolen Thursday on Blue Crest Drive.
