Sunday’s Police Blotter
Unless otherwise noted, the following incidents were reported to Huntsville police Friday and Saturday. In items with incomplete addresses, police withheld the information:
South precinct
• Twenty-six gallons of gas worth $106.40 were stolen during a theft at a convenience store on South Memorial Parkway.
• A Samsung digital camera valued at $130 and a Sony digital camera valued at $230, an iPod valued at $200, a Colonial Bank checkbook of unknown value and a Colonial debit card of unknown value were stolen from a 1994 Chevrolet van on Williams Street.
• A car CD player valued at $70 and a car CD player of unknown value were stolen from a car on Hillwood Drive.
• Two step ladders, four silver spoons, a Brazilian coin, a gold pin and an iron plaque, all of unknown value, were stolen during a theft on Scenic Drive.
• A $120 pair of Oakley sunglasses, a $100 gift card, a wallet valued at $20, a driver’s license, a Redstone Federal credit card and a Region’s check card were stolen from a 2004 Infiniti.
• A purse valued at $150, $10 in cash, two credit cards, a driver’s license, a military ID and a checkbook were stolen from a 1994 Jeep Cherokee on Lakin Drive.
North precinct
• Fifty hats valued at $450, six leather jackets valued at $200, two video games valued at $50, three remote cars valued at $50, three pair of shoes valued at $50, one box of doo rags valued at $35 and a utility cap liner of unknown value were stolen during a burglary on Meridian Street.
• A box of clothing, a box of VHS tapes and a box of toys, all of unknown value, were stolen during a theft on Jordan Lane.
• A 1989 Chevrolet Caprice Classic valued at $10,000 was stolen on Brett Road.
West precinct
• One canvas tool pouch valued at $60, one canvas tool bag valued at $40, one drill valued at $300 and hand tools valued at $150 were stolen from a 2007 Ford F-250 at the Quality Inn on University Drive.
• An ignition switch was damaged and a bag of tools of unknown value were stolen from a 1994 Ford F-150 on Cypress Avenue.
• Nine rings valued at $50, two bracelets valued at $75 and miscellaneous costume jewelry valued at $25 were stolen during a burglary on Woodway Drive.huntsm@1
